What if I sent crypto to the wrong address on deposit?

Unfortunately, mb.io cannot recover it. Blockchain transactions are irreversible - once crypto is sent, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or redirected. If the address doesn't belong to mb.io or isn't controlled by you, those funds are lost.

To avoid this in the future:

  • Always double-check the deposit address before sending
  • Use the copy button or QR code to avoid typing errors
  • Send a small test amount first when depositing a large sum
  • Verify the blockchain network matches

If you sent crypto to the wrong mb.io deposit address (for example, sent BTC to your ETH address), contact support immediately. In rare cases mb.io may be able to assist, but recovery is not guaranteed.
